Custard

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Rations: 3 INGREDIENTS
- 700 ml soy milk
- 1 vanilla pod or vanilla extract
- 20 g cornstarch
- Lemon zest
- Sweetener to taste
- A pinch of turmeric (optional)
- Cook for 15 minutes, stirring constantly with a whisk. The mixture should thicken.
- Serve the custard in individual jars, sprinkle with a little cinnamon, and let cool.
PREPARATION
- Heat 500ml of soy milk in a saucepan. Do not let it boil. Add the lemon zest, sweetener, turmeric, and vanilla. Let it cook for 5-10 minutes. Strain this mixture and return it to the saucepan over medium-high heat. Mix the cornstarch with 200ml of warm soy milk. Add this mixture to the saucepan.
