Preparation time: 5 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 700 ml soy milk
  • 1 vanilla pod or vanilla extract
  • 20 g cornstarch
  • Lemon zest
  • Sweetener to taste
  • A pinch of turmeric (optional)
  • Cook for 15 minutes, stirring constantly with a whisk. The mixture should thicken.
  • Serve the custard in individual jars, sprinkle with a little cinnamon, and let cool.

PREPARATION

  1. Heat 500ml of soy milk in a saucepan. Do not let it boil. Add the lemon zest, sweetener, turmeric, and vanilla. Let it cook for 5-10 minutes. Strain this mixture and return it to the saucepan over medium-high heat. Mix the cornstarch with 200ml of warm soy milk. Add this mixture to the saucepan.
