Tofu in mango sauce

Preparation time: 20 minutes
Rations: 4 INGREDIENTS
- 2 blocks of firm tofu
- 1 mango
- Soy sauce
- Lemon or lime juice
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 small piece of fresh ginger
- 3 tablespoons of canned coconut milk
- Cayenne pepper (optional)
- Cornstarch
- Salt
- Add the mango sauce and cook for 5 minutes.
- Stir in the tofu and sauté for another 5 minutes.
PREPARATION
- Wrap the tofu in a kitchen towel and press to remove all the liquid.
- Cut the tofu into cubes and place them on a plate. Add a generous splash of soy sauce and let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Coat the tofu in cornstarch and sauté in a pan with oil until golden brown. Set aside.
- In a blender, combine the mango, coconut milk, lemon juice, salt, and spices. Blend well.
- Grate the garlic and ginger and sauté them in the pan for a few minutes.
