Toast with chickpea pâté

Toast with chickpea pâté

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Rations: 5

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can of cooked chickpeas
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
  • 1 grated carrot
  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Juice of one orange
  • Spices: black pepper, ground cumin, ginger, garlic powder
  • Fresh cilantro
  • A drizzle of olive oil
  • Toasted whole-wheat bread

PREPARATION

  1. Wash and drain the chickpeas. Mash with a fork.
  2. Add the avocado and mix well.
  3. Stir in the juices, spices, oil, mustard, and finely chopped cilantro.
  4. Add the grated carrot and finely diced red bell pepper. Set aside.
  5. Assemble your toasts by spreading the vegetable pâté on top.
