Cabbage stew

Preparation time: 40 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 onion
  • 6-8 cloves of garlic
  • 1 cabbage
  • 3 medium potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce
  • Sweet paprika and cayenne pepper (optional) about 2 fingers above the top.
  • If you make it in a pressure cooker, it will be ready in about half an hour. If you make it in a regular pot, let it simmer for 1-1.5 hours, until the potatoes are cooked through and the broth is flavorful.

PREPARATION

  1. Peel and finely chop the garlic and add it to a pot with olive oil.
  2. Add the chopped onion and cook until golden.
  3. Add the spices and cook for one minute.
  4. Add the tomato sauce and sauté for a few minutes.
  5. Shred the cabbage, peel and roughly chop the potatoes. Add everything to the pot. Sauté for 5 minutes.
  6. Add water until it covers all the vegetables.
